This beach resort saw a 27:1 ROAS and increased traffic to their website with Expedia TravelAds Sponsored Listings.
This independently owned boutique resort in a highly desirable but little-known location on the windward side of Oahu was recently taken over by new owners who renovated the property and brought in new management. After the extensive renovation, Paradise Bay increased its room rates and sought to attract a more affluent market. Due to the unique geographical location of Paradise Bay Resort, searches for hotels or resorts on Oahu would organically pull up larger hotels in Waikiki. The objectives were: A) to increase exposure, and B) to raise occupancy/revenue in the month of September.
TravelAds was able to meet the first objective by making Paradise Bay Resort visible to potential guests that may not have otherwise found it. An increase in direct traffic to the site was noticed within days of initiating the TravelAds campaign. This increase is attributed to the ’billboard effect’ of appearing at the top of the listings.
